Dr. Julian Pavier
Dr. Julian Pavier is a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon now working in his own clinic but made great contributions for us in the past.

Mr Julian Pavier is a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon appointed at Newark Hospital in 2003. This service has developed hugely over this time and Mr Pavier now operates 5 sessions per week at Newark Hospital operating on around 600 cases per year in the NHS at Newark. He has a full time registrar and a part time surgical trainee along with a Specialist Podiatry Nurse in his team.

Mr Pavier has been consulting private patients  at The Nottingham Road Clinic since it opened in 2006 and also sees private patients at The Park Hospital Nottingham where he operates and consults on a weekly basis.

Mr Pavier has a special interest in the Surgical management of Hallux Valgus (bunions) and musculoskeletal problems in the foot and ankle. He has built up a close working relationship with Dr Simon Stinchcombe both in the NHS and privately and frequently utilises Dr Stinchcombe’s expertise in Ultrasound Scanning  and injections under Ultrasound guidance in the foot and ankle.

Mr Pavier is very enthusiastic about the new ESWT joint pain clinic. “this is a very exciting development in the management of musculoskeletal problems. It gives another option to patients who do not wish interventional treatment eg Injections or surgery. ESWT promotes natural healing of chronic problems and this has to be a good thing”
